Birth: 30 Oct 1835, Paris, Monroe Co., MO Death: 24 Jun 1927, Oakland, Alameda Co., CA Father: Thomas THOMPSON Mother: Delilah DAVIS |
Marriage-1: 25 Oct 1876, Maine Prairie, Solano Co., CA |
Wife-1: Delilah Ann "Anna / Annie" McCRAY
Birth: 1854/5, Middlebury, Mercer Co., MO Death: Aug-Dec, 1880, Maine Prairie, Solano Co., CA Cause of death: childbirth mtDNA Haplogroup: H11 Father: George Clinton McCRAY Mother: Elizabeth La Vernia WILLIAMS Normally, when a man marries at age 40, you can safely assume he had an earlier wife, but as far as George's daughter, Maude Irene, knew, he had no earlier spouse. George and Delilah were living in Indian Valley, Monterey Co., in 1880, but Delilah went to Maine Prairie to be with her mother to birth her third child, which is why Delilah died there and not in Monterey County. Delilah's death was some time after 27 Aug 1880 and before 31 Dec 1880 because Delilah's tombstone says 1880 and her daughter, Maude Irene, says Delilah died when she was three years old. |

On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
