1. First-hand knowledge: Lavernia (THOMPSON) JOSEPH was my great-aunt, whom I knew and loved as "Auntie Lou." I'm too young to have any memory of Charles, but I'm told he was very handsome and personable — quite the "ladies' man." 2. Marriage Record: 3a. 1900 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com): can't find and I really looked. I can't find any of his siblings, either, except his youngest sister, Hilda, who is still living with their parents. 3b. 1900 Census Index/Images (online at Genealogy.com): can't find, and I scanned all index entries beginning Ja, Jo, or Ju, for anything likely. 4. 1910 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #3 of 29): 807 Isabella St., Oakland City (Ward 2), Oakland Twp., Alameda Co., CA, Roll T624_70 (Part 1), p. 74A, SN 2A, SD 3, ED 91, enumerated 23 Apr 1910, official enumeration date 15 Apr 1910 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal
on a main frame." Been there; done that. Never again.
