1.  First-hand knowledge:  Lavernia (THOMPSON) JOSEPH was my great-aunt, whom I knew and loved as "Auntie Lou."  I'm too young to have any memory of Charles, but I'm told he was very handsome and personable — quite the "ladies' man."
