Footnotes:
1.  The binding and paginating of the loose census pages was not done by the enumerator or in the county enumerated.  It was done later, at NARA in Washington, DC, and all too often they made errors in the process.  In the case of Rocky Fork Township, some of the pages were bound, numbered, and microfilmed out of order.

Image 5 is really page 103, not 102, so the back of that census page is Image 8, not Image 6.  The difficulty is here compounded by some enumerator error.  On page 103, the first 15 households have the number of Whites and Slaves totaled correctly, as is the case with the last 8 households.  For whatever reason, the totals on lines 16 thru 19 are incorrect.  I'm assuming the error occurred in summing the Totals, not in the enumeration itself.

Image 7 is really page 104, not 103, so the back of that census page is Image 10, not Image 8, which is easily determined because it's the last page for the township and it's only a partial page.  The error is compounded because someone wrote "205" in pencil over the stamped "104" page number.

Search Notes:
1.  I've extracted all DAVIS and THOM*SON/THOM*SEN from Boone, Howard, Montgomery, and Randolph Cos.
