One member of the CARRICO project is Haplogroup J2a4 (= J-L26).  He is a resident of the City of Queluz, Sintra Municipality, Lisbon District, Lisboa Region, Portugal.
Haplogroup J members of the CARRICO project are encouraged to also join the Y-DNA-J Haplogroup Project at FamilyTreeDNA to contribute to the body of knowledge accumulating about this haplogroup and, thus, to increase our own knowledge about ourselves.

Once your first results have returned (when you first get access to your member page), you can join additional FTDNA projects using the "Join Projects" button on your member page, and you can upload to Ysearch using the link on the "Y-DNA Matches" tab of your member page.

Our subject has a dozen or so 12/12 matches (in other surnames), but no significant matches with anyone at higher levels.  This pattern of matches is not surprising given that his 12-marker haplotype is an 11/12 match with the J-L26 modal haplotype, while at higher levels, his results depart substantially from the modal values.
Our subject has been deep SNP tested and his positive value for M410 proves he is J2a, while the positive value for L26 proves he is J2a4:
M410+ L26+

These negative SNPs prove he is not any of these parallel clades to L26:
M289- M340- P279-

These negative SNPs prove he is not any of these next-level subclades of L26:
M47- M67- L210- M68- M319- M339- M419- P81- L24- L198-

These negative SNPS redundantly support that he is not a subclade of L24:
L25- L229- L231- L243- L254-

The negative value for M12, redundantly supports that he is not J2b:
M12-

These negative SNPs redundantly support that he is not a form of J1:
L136- L147.1-

What constitutes a match?
Matches in other surnames are usually mere coincidence, so please ignore them — I'll let you know when you shouldn't!
For 12 markers: 9 or less is a non-relative; for 10-12 markers, please see this table compiled by FTDNA.
For 25 markers: 21 or less is a non-relative; for 22-25 markers,
For 37 markers: 31 or less is a non-relative; for 32-37 markers,
For 67 markers: 59 or less is a non-relative; for 60-67 markers,
For 111 markers: 100 or less is a non-relative; for 101-111 markers,
For any test:  0 matching markers, please contact NASA.
