George STROUP
Elizabeth Jane LAYMAN |
Please Note: George's patrilineal paper trail leads to the 1711 Palatine immigrant to New York, Johannes STRAUB. An alleged patrilineal great-grandson of George has been Y-DNA tested at SMGF, and he is not a DNA match with a patrilineal descendant of Johannes, one with a solid paper trail. Either we are looking at an NPE or there's been a mistake in the paper trail. I urge patrilineal male descendants of George to be Y-DNA tested to help uncover where the genetic disconnect may have taken place — or whether we have a mistake in paper genealogy. |

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal
