Moses CORBIN
Harriet __?__ |
WARNING: there is very poor correspondence
between our subject's list of children in the 1850 census and the one in
the 1860 census, for which I see no obviously explanation beyond gross
enumerator error and/or adoptions. More evidence is needed to determine
exactly who their biological children were.
NOTICE: a patrilineal descendant of Simeon Jackson CORBIN, son or nephew of our subject, has been tested for the CORBIN Y-DNA Surname Project, and he is a high level match with Edward CORBIN of Beaufort Dist. [now Hampton Co.], SC. There are also what appear to be paper connections with the HARVEY family of Barnwell Co., SC, and Columbia Co., FL, suggesting our subject's origin in SC may be Barnwell County. |

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
