Two patrilineal descendants of our subject have been Y-DNA tested, with the result that they match a descendant of Simeon Jackson CORBIN of Lafayette Co., FL.  They have not yet connected on paper, and their immigrant ancestor remains unidentified, but it is a welcome development that these elusive CORBIN lines have at least found a connection with each other.

If Mandy was truly born in Feb 1835, then either the IGI is wrong, this census is wrong, or these are two different Amanda's.  From the censuses, Mandy had 7 children total, though only 6 may be surviving at this point.
