Y-DNA Haplogroup I1-Z58 SNP Character Matrix and
Haplotree
This is a large page that may take a some time to load. Please be patient. — as of February 2014 — |
The SNP matrix below contains records for Z58+ and all its subclades — except Z140+ and Z138+, which were spun off because this page got so large. These data were compiled in February 2014, and it's unlikely I will update them any time soon. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
A small black asterisk (*) means an upstream or equivalent SNP has
not been tested; a bold red asterisk (*)
means the next downstream SNP has not been tested. If it then tests
positive, there may be more downstream SNPs to test. A red asterisk
may also mean a parallel or upstream SNP test is desirable to help anchor
a SNP — or the individual — where the current position is tentative.
A "p" inside a cell means a test result is
pending.

P30 is phyloequivalent to M253, and in some places that
SNP was the one proving membership in Haplogroup I1, so it's indicated
with "P30" in the M253 column.
CTS8647 is a synonym for Z2894, that is, it's the same SNP with two different names — as opposed to being two different SNPs that are phyloequivalent (as are M253 and P30). Both names for this particular SNP are being shown in SNP Results tables at FTDNA, but there are only positive values for CTS8647, and only Z2894 can be ordered a la carte at FTDNA. There's no advantage to scoring synonyms separately, so people who are positive for CTS8647+ are shown here with "CTS" in the Z2894 column. |

So far, at least in the Hg I1 SNP Results tables at FTDNA, everyone positive for this SNP is also positive for some downstream SNP. So, is this SNP equivalent to Z2539? Also, no one with a parallel SNP is showing a negative test for this one, and vice-versa, so their relationship to each other is uncertain. This SNP is showing up in Terry Robb's tree as a separate clade, so I'll assume there is someone out there who is root CTS9352*.

I don't find anyone in the SNP Results table who is both Z73+ and CTS1679-, but presumably there is such a person because, if not, these two SNPs are equivalent.

It would be helpful if this individual would test the two currently parallel SNPs, CTS9352 and PF3158, to determine their relationship.

Some individuals are placed here tentatively. It would be preferable to actually test L803.
