CORBIN Kin in Huntingdon County |
No CORBIN/etc. head-of-household was found indexed in PA in the 1790 census. I have extracted what I could find of families the CORBINs are known to have married into, who were living in Huntingdon County. Please note, though, that the page images for Huntingdon County, both at Ancestry.com and Genealogy.com, are badly under-exposed on the lower edge, making the last name or two on each page unreadable. |

Search Notes:
1. There is a John CERVEN/CORVEN in Bedford County. 2. There is a Robert CORKIN indexed in Fayette County, but the page is missing. 3. There are numerous CORDERs and CARTERs who could be misreadings of CORBIN, which I did not check. 4. The Joseph CARBER in Northampton County does appear to be CARBER. 5. The Mormaduke CARTIS in Allegheny County is Marmaduke CURTIS. 6. The Peter CURTEN in Franklin County does appear to be CURTEN/CURTON. 7. There were a few CURTISes and some COBOURN (and variations) that I did not check. 8. Finished search at Ancestry.com on COR*, CAR*, CUR*, C*B*N. 9. I did a page-by-page search of Huntingdon County, extracting families known to have connections with CORBIN. |
