These two girls are said to be our subjects' children, but they are
not in our subjects' household in either the 1840 or 1850 censuses.
In fact, their presence in the household would be problematic because that
would mean an extremely tight spacing of children for Hannah (viz.,
four children in three years), unless we're talking two sets of twins —
or unless you want to argue that Hannah is Harriet and Susan is Lucinda
and that both were enumerated twice in the 1850 census.
. Harriet STRAUB / STRAUP, b. Jan 1834 . Lucinda STROUP, b. Nov 1835 |

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
