Marcus d. 1820 VA came from PA to the Shenandoah Valley in 1783, in Berry Hollow, North River District, now Verona where he owned a plantation of 320 acres, part of which is still owned by the Cupp family. He died in Augusta Co., Va

Marcus children are:
Jacob b. ca 1766 d.1850 at Port Republic
George d. 1894 m. Dorothy Runkle b. 6 Jul 1789
Catherine b. ca 1764 m. Phillip Sheets 1791, she died 1853
Valentine b. 1766 m (1) Mary Falls (2) Barbara Falls
Polly m. Aug 1801 Jacob Whitmer Jr. Their ch. Jacob, John, Peter all bap. Freidens Ch.
Susannah b. ca 1782 d. 1859 m. Daniel Whitmer
Henry m 1806 Susannah Baker
Daniel b. ca 1776 M. Elizabeth Belcher 1807 He died 1850
Frederick m 1810 Elizabeth Baker
Dolly m. 1810 John Mayers by Rev. Wm King
Joseph m. 1817 Barbara Roots
Peggy m. 1816 Conrad Noll

They moved from PA to VA in 1768-70, not 1783.  George died in 1804, not 1894, and his wife was not born in 1789, they were married in 1789.  The Broderbund Marriage Index has Peggy married in 1826, but 1816 makes much more sense (see Conrad's page).

Box 67, Stevensville, MT, 59870).  These marriages are based on patron submissions, mostly in the form of family group sheets, so all marriages are in need of further documentation — as you can see...  The family group sheets may be purchased from Yates, but the sheet is unlikely to cite its documentation.
Cupp, Marcus; Birth Year: 1755
Marriage Year: 1766
Spouse: Margaret Hannah ???; Birth Year: 1755
Source Number: 402.000; Submitter Code: PHZ
It is hardly likely that Marcus and Margaret were married at age 11.

These are undocumented patron submissions, so caveat emptor — as you can see...
