Valentine COLEMAN's son, Wilson S. COLEMAN, married Maria Ann STRAUB, sister of George W. STRAUB, who married Elijah & Elizabeth CORBIN's daughter, Sarah E. CORBIN.  In other words, the COLEMANs and CORBINs are each other's in-laws.  These are the only CORBINs in the county, which is extraordinary considering how many children they had.

Elijah was the first child of Joshua and Margaret Corbin.  He stayed in Ohio when his parents moved to Hamilton County, Iowa.  They did not hear anything more about him and do not know if he ever married or not, or where he spent the rest of his life.
