Several of these children are often attributed to Abel's parents, but Abel's parents were married by at least 1730, so it's very unlikely that Abel's mother was still having children in 1766/7, much less in the 1770s, '80s, or '90s. Even Nancy was only just young enought to be Simms's mother.
