Samuel BROWN
Molly HIDDEN |
Please Note: Samuel is said to be the son of Samuel BROWN & Martha CHASE, but there is no such couple as far as I can tell — the alleged couple appears to be a mixup with Samuel BOWEN & Martha CHASE. Our subject is also said to be the son of Joseph BROWN, Jr. & Abigail HILLS, but their son, Samuel BROWN, married Anne CARR. A good fit for our subject's parents would be John BROWN & Sarah SMITH, who had a son, Samuel, born in Newbury on 18 Mar 1728, whose fate as an adult is otherwise unaccounted for, but I have yet to find a datum that would prove the connection. |
