JOSEPH BROWN4, born in Newbury Nov. 1, 1699.  He was a yeoman, and lived in Newbury.  He married Abigail Hills of Newbury Dec. 26, 1723; and died in Newbury July 4, 1742, at the age of forty-two.  His estate was appraised at £279, 1s., 2d.  She survived him, and died, his widow, March --, 1774, at the age of sixty-nine.
