 E  (n = 2 / 1)  G  (n = 6 / 1) I1 (n = 21 / 3) I2 (n = 2 / 1) R1b (n = 28 / 11)

We have two CORBIN project members with an origin in Barbados (West Indies).  They are deduced to be  Haplogroup E-1b1b-1, a.k.a., E-M35.1 (formerly E3b).  Haplogroup E-1b1b is an ancient group believed to have dispersed westward from the Middle East around the Mediterranean, across northern Africa and southern Europe, as far as the British Isles.  It is the third most common haplogroup in Europe, after R1b and I1.

This table is out-of-date, but it nevertheless demonstrates the diversity of Haplogroup E.
(An equal sign in the ISOGG column means the value is the same as FTDNA.)

The null value at DYS425 (red table cells) is characteristic of E-1b1b-1 and its subclades.
Our three CORBIN subjects match each other 67/67 or 65/67 supporting that they have a near common ancestor.  They have no match with any other tested CORBINs, but they do have some near matches at 37 and 67 markers.  These matches are as high as 36/37 and 65/67 with "Group 18" of the Harris Y-DNA Project, raising the spector of an NPE, either in the CORBIN line or the HARRIS line.  I would recommend that one of the CORBINs and one of the HARRISes be deep SNP tested to determine whether they are in the same haplogroup subclade and that all upgrade to 111 markers.
For an explanation of how I analyze test results and an explanation of the color coding, please see this page.

What constitutes a match?
Matches in other surnames are usually mere coincidence, so please ignore them — I'll let you know when you shouldn't!
For 12 markers: 9 or less is a non-relative; for 10-12 markers, please see this table compiled by FTDNA.
For 25 markers: 21 or less is a non-relative; for 22-25 markers,
For 37 markers: 31 or less is a non-relative; for 32-37 markers,
For 67 markers: 59 or less is a non-relative; for 60-67 markers,
For 111 markers: 100 or less is a non-relative; for 101-111 markers,
For any test:  0 matching markers, please contact NASA.
