Footnotes:
1. Indexed "Stond." 2. Indexed "Strend." 3. Indexed "Od." 4. The Broderbund 1830 Census Index (CD-315) shows a Simon STROUP in Galena, Jo Daviess County, but gives no page number. I have checked every page of Jo Daviess County (Microfilm Roll 24, pp. 307-317) online at Ancestry.com and at Genealogy.com without finding Simon. A further check of the images indicates that pages 304-306 are missing at both Ancestry.com and Genealogy.com. I can only surmise that Simon was on one of those missing pages. |
Search Notes:
1. There were three STRODEs I did not extract. 2. The Abraham STRUARD in Adams County is HOWARD. 3. Finished search at Ancestry.com on STR*. |

"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal
on a main frame." Been there; done that. Never again.
You are giving away not only your privacy, but control of your data, your apps, and your computer to a corporation. Is that really where you want to go? The IT guys on the big iron hated the Personal Computer because it gave users freedom and power; now they've conned you into being back under their control. |
