2. Census Index: U.S. Selected Counties, 1850 (Broderbund CD-317): the only Peter STRAUB indexed in the 1850 census is the one in Union/Snyder Co., PA, who was born in PA in 1809/10. While our subject may have been missed in the census, there is some hope that the reason he was not indexed is that he is living with his parents. The question is, where? I have extracted all STRAUBs (and variations) from the 1850 census of Kentucky, and did not find him there. 2. 1860 Census Index/Images (online at Genealogy.com, Image #3 of 8): Stanford P.O., Stanford, Lincoln Co., KY, Roll 382 (Book 1), p. 3, PN 3, 16/16, enumerated 7 Jun 1860, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1860 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):¤•

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal
