(case matters)
[Yes, I know I can set up a Google search box
right here. I just need to find the time to do it...] |
| The every-name indices only index the family group sheets, not the
census records or other data pages. I seem always to be behind on
building the indices, which must be done manually. So, if you don't
find want you seek in the indices, please try browsing the folders (which
are filed by husband's surname).
People whose surname is unknown (most are married women whose maiden
name is unknown) are not indexed, though I do index individuals who simply
do not use a surname (e.g., royalty, aboriginals, etc.) and those
who have yet to adopt a surname (viz., those who continue to use
patronymics).
Children
who die before coming of age are not indexed, even if their full name
is known (because they could not possibly have any descendants who would
be searching for them). |
Single Surname Indices:
Alphabetical by Given Name
Four Germanic Surnames:
STRAUB, STRAUBE, STROOP, STRUB
and Their Many Spelling Variations, especially
STROUP and STROPE
Newly added: TRAUB, TROUB, TRAUP, TROUP,
etc. |
|
Alphabetical by
Surname, then by Given Name
|
| Surname Not Used: Alphabetical
by Given Name

Browse
the Family Group Sheets by Husband's Surname
If you have your browser's status bar visible and you
hold your cursor over the beginning of a filename,
you will be able to read the entire filename in your
status bar,
which will consist of the husband's full name followed
by the name(s) of his spouse(s). |
Pages
To Be Indexed
These pages have yet to be entered in the every-name
indices.
However, not all un-indexed pages are linked here, which
means those pages can only be found by browsing
the folders.
Someday I'll get caught up… |
