Secondary sources are reading this as our subjects being married 1 Nov 1825.  That's the date of the newspaper article.  The were married "Monday the 24th," which had to mean 24 Oct 1825, which was, indeed, a Monday.  They are also reading it as if they'd been married in Albany.  That's where the newspaper (the Albany Gazette) was published.  They were married "in New York," which surely means New York City.
