This is one of those records where some idiot at NARA scribbled numbers over the names of the heads-of-households; however, William's surname clearly begins "Ch," so it's hard to figure why he was indexed "Wise."  Narcissa (RAPER) PAGE CHASE is the maternal grandmother of Fred and Jessie.
