1. Marriage Record: 2. Census Index: U.S. Selected Counties, 1790 (Broderbund CD-311): not found, but Jacob & Framey were probably not married at this point. 3. Anon. 1991. The 1795 Census of Kentucky [as constructed from tax lists]. T.L.C. Genealogy, Miami Beach, FL (said to include every extant tax list from all counties existing in the state of Kentucky in 1795, which doesn't mean there aren't missing lists): Jacob should be in KY, but I couldn't find him. Either he was missed in record or his name was so mis-read that I don't recognize it. Clermont County is just across the Ohio Rver from Kentucky, so it is not so surpising that he was briefly in Kentucky, especially if they came down the Ohio River from Pennsylvania. There was a Jacob STOUT in Mason Co., KY, which county borders the river just upstream from Clermont. He's the only likely candidate for our subject. 4. Anita Short. 1989.
