Either George's birthyear is wrong or the year he was baptized is wrong. The problem with the "Alexander" location is that there is no such town in Jefferson Co., NY. There is an "Alexander Corners" and an "Alexandria" in Jefferson County and an Alexander in Genesee County. So, is the town wrong or is the county wrong?
