2.  1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Alonzo STROUP (æ 3, b. PA) is living in Tionesta Twp., Venango [now Forest] Co., PA, with his parents (q.v.).

3.  1870 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Alonzo W. STROUP (æ 12, b. PA) is living in the Borough of Tionesta, Forest Co., PA, with his parents (q.v.).

4.  1880 U.S. Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  can't find, however…  There is an Alfred STROUP (æ 23, b. PA/PA/PA; laborer) living in a boarding house in Howe Twp., Forest Co., PA (p. 32D).  This enumerator was pretty sloppy, so between that and being one of many residents in a boarding house, the given name as enumerated could be wrong.  I don't find an "Alfred/Alferd" STROUP this age in the 1860 or 1870 PA censuses, anywhere.
