Ancestry:  I haven't identified George's parents, but there can be little doubt that he is related to the other STROOPEs who moved from Virginia to Louisiana to Clark Co., AR, all of whom appear to be descendants of Wilhelm STRUB (b. 1699/1700, Kurpfalz (Electoral Palatinate, Germany), 1737 immigrant to Philadelphia who settled in Frederick Co., VA.
