Joshua STRAUB
Maria YERGER |
Husband: Joshua / Josua STRAUB
Birth: ca. 1803/4, PA Occupation: laborer, miner Father: Johann Daniel STRAUB, Jr. Mother: Catharina SITTLER |
Marriage: 5 Dec 1824, Lutheran Church, New Hanover, Montgomery Co., PA |
Wife: Maria YERGER
Birth: 1800-1810 Death: 1840-50 Occupation: homemaker |
Children: |
— born in either Montgomery Co., PA, or Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh
Co., PA:
1. (Daughter A) STRAUB, b. 1825 2. (Daughter B) STRAUB, b. 1825-30 3. Elizabeth STRAUB, b. 1829/30 — born in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh Co., PA;
I have no direct proof that Catharine and Joshua (a.k.a., Jesse?) are children of this couple, but Catharine and Joshua appear as orphans in the 1850 census of Upper Macungie Township, and there is no other STRAUB couple in Upper Macungie Township who could have been their parents. Also, we have no other STRAUB children in the 1850 census to account for Joshua STRAUB's children in the 1840 census. |

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
