Joseph STRAUB
Flacustine Elizabeth __?__
Husband:  Joseph STRAUB
Birth:  1822-25, Baden
Occupation:  laborer
Marriage:
Wife:  Flacustine Elizabeth __?__ or is she Elizabeth FLACUSTINE?
Birth:  1828/9, Baden
Occupation:  homemaker
Children:
1.  Joseph STRAUB, b. 1850/1, St. Louis, MO

— born in Alexander Co., IL:
2.  Anna Elizabeth STRAUB, b. 1858/9
3.  Mary STRAUB, b. 1858/9
4?  Frank STRAUB, b. Dec 1864

Frank is clearly related to our subjects, but it's not clear exactly how.  Frank does not show up as a son in the 1870 census.  Yet, in 1900, Anna is enumerated as his "sister"; however, in 1910, Anna is enumerated as his "aunt."  For Frank to be Anna's nephew, our subject must have had a prior wife and an earlier son.
