4.  1870 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #25 of 26):  Carlyle P.O., T2N.R2W, Clinton Co., IL, Roll M593_196, p. 261A, PN 25, 186/191, enumerated 21 Jun 1870, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1870 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):¤•

   "   Eliza 18 F W At Service     Germany

Barbara can't be this old and still be Nicholas's mother; her age in 1880 is probably the correct one.  Or are the second three children not hers?  They are out of order.  Are they her orphaned nieces and nephew?

5.  1880 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #44 of 50):  Carlyle Twp., Clinton Co., IL, Roll, p. 531B, PN 44, SD 7, ED 84, enumerated __ Jun 1880, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1880 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):¤•

These two are the only references to surname BOLLQUET in any database, so it must be a gross misspelling of some other surname.

"+ Means we added information from the St. Mary’s Church burial records and translated the given names from Latin.
An + after the person’s name means the whole line came from the church records."

How can the date possibly be correct?  Nicholas is alive and living with his mother in the 1880 census.
