John was born in 1860, not 1871, as his age clearly indicates. John's father was born in Germany and his mother in Switzerland, not Missouri. "Son" "Elmer" should be daughter Martha Elma. It's biologically impossible for Ethel and "Elmer" to have been born only three months apart. Elma's birth date and age are correct, so it must be Ethel's that are in error. Also, if Minnie were truly born in Nov 1897, she would be 1 year old, not 2 years old, on the enumeration date.
