Sarah is said to have died in 1841, but she is still alive, living with her mother, in the 1850 census, and, in the 1860 census, living with her brother, William.  Where is Mary in the 1850 census?  Is she the Mary WEINER (æ 6) living with Christina in 1850?  Why is she surnamed WEINER?  Is it merely a coincidence that a six-year-old Mary WEINER is living with them.  If so, where is Mary Ann STRAUB?

p. 912 STRAUB, William.  Farmer and stockman, Berrysburg, Pa., was born in Schuylkill county, Pa., September 21, 1831; son of John and Christiana (Hime) Straub.

John Straub was also born in Schuylkill county, and was a son of John Straub, farmer and mill owner of that county, where he died.  John Straub, Jr., was also a farmer, and cultivated several rented farms in his native county, where he died in 1845.  His wife Christiana Hime, was born in Northumberland county.  Their children were:  Angeline, deceased, wife of Jere [Jeremiah] Matter, engineer; William; Elizabeth, deceased, wife of David Seal [SEALE]; Samuel, Lykens township, Dauphin county; Amos, farmer, Mifflin township; Sarah, died young; Mary, wife of John Wetmore [WITMER], Seven Points, Northumberland county.  Mr. Straub was a Democrat.  He was a member of the Lutheran church.  The second husband of Mrs. Straub, was Valentine Savage...

7.  Anon.  1898.  Commemorative Biographical Record of Central Pennsylvania, including the Counties of Centre, Clearfield, Jefferson and Clarion.  J.H. Beers & Co., Chicago.
p. 164 John Heim, the grandfather of Mrs. Hensyl, and a farmer and school teacher by occupation, died in 1824.  He was twice married, by the first union having one son and seven daughters, while by the second there were six sons and two daughters.  Sophia (Kohl), his second wife, lived to the advanced age of eighty-eight years.  Her children were as follows:  John, of Richfield, Juniata Co., Penn.; George, of Upper Mahonoy township, Northumberland county; Diana, wife of John Straub, of Lykenstown, Penn.; Mollie, wife of Peter Beisel, of Upper Mahanoy; Peter, of Watsontown, Northumberland county; William, the father of Mrs. Hensyl; Daniel, of Northumberland county; and Jonathan, a resident of Illinois.
Was her other given name really, "Diana," or has the author erred?  The name, Diana, comes from a goddess of Roman mythology, and it's unusual for Christians of this era to use such a given name.
