Straub — The deceased, Eliza Ann Straub, was born in Delaware county, January 11, 1839, being the fourth child of Mr. and Mrs. William Osborn.  Mrs. Straub was the widow of John Straub, to whom she was married July 23, 1854.  Her death was caused by a complication of diseases, January 4, 1914.  She was aged seventy-four years, eleven months and twenty-three days.  To Mr. and Mrs. Straub were born seven children, four of whom are living.  They are Mrs. J.C. Schaaf, of Prospect; Mrs. R.S. Dombaugh, of Marion; Mrs. J.P. Augenstein and Mrs. W.M. Hoke, of Waldo.  She also leaves two sisters and one brother, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends, who mourn her death.  She was a member of the Reformed church of Waldo, coming to that church from the United Brethren.  The only consolation that is left is the sweet realization of the fact that our loved one is at rest.

I have little pencil drawings that she made in 1850 of her cabin and also the name of her friend Sara Boyd.

I'm afraid a bad connection has been made here.  Johann Martin STRAUB is not the John STROUB who married Eliza OSBORN.
