AUGENSTEIN, Hazel Fern d/o J.R. & Dilla d Apr 22 1898 Aged: 3y 5m 19d Waldo [Cemetery] Waldo [Twp.]
It's J.P., but a worn tombstone is easily misread.

The village was incorporated by a special act of the Legislature in February, 1845, and in May following, Judson A. Bebe was elected mayor; John J. Jacobs, recorder; and John Porterfield, Andrew Straub, Jasper Partridge, John Byers and Chancy Lewis, trustees.  The present officers of the village are W.E. Selanders, mayor; J.P. Augenstein, clerk; J.D. Bower, treasurer, and J.L. Shroats, marshal.
Andrew STRAUB is Dilla's grandfather.  Also see biographical sketch of Dilla's brother-in-law, Robert S. DOMBAUGH

The IT guys on the big iron hated the Personal Computer because it gave users freedom and power; now they've conned you into being back under their control.
