Biographical sketches of Jacob Straub and his kin.  Kate is described as, "The daughter ... now keeps house for her father...," which indicates she was still living in 1911 and had presumably not married as of age 39. 

9.   Information found by Frank Stroup at the Pennsylvania Historical Society in two folders of unpublished notes entitled Helen Gearhart Collection.  These notes were entirely undocumented, so caveat emptor; yet, they contain much valuable information, if true, so are worth consulting.
