John SELLERS
Martha BAILEY
Sarah HENDERSON
Mayma __?__
Serena M. __?__
Please Note:  There are numerous files at WorldConnect giving John several different ancestral lines, but none of them appear promising because none connects him to the German SÖLLERS / SOELLERS / SELLERS family with whom a patrilineal descendant of John's is a DNA match.  It's possible our subject descends from the known immigrant of this family, Philip Heinrich SÖLLERS, or from another member of this family who immigrated.  It isn't necessary to connect specifically to Philip Heinrich to be descended from the same common ancestor, further back in Philip's ancestry.
Husband:  John SELLERS
Birth:  1810 or 1813 or 23 Oct 1812, SC
Death:  12 Jun 1902, Randolph Co., AL
Disposition:  buried Sellers Cemetery, Randolph Co., AL
Occupation:  farmer
Y-DNA Haplogroup:  R1b1
Father said to be:  John SELLERS, b. ca. 1780s in NC
Marriage-1:  21 May 1829, Henry Co., GA
Wife-1:  Martha BAILEY

I suspect the 1812 or 1813 birthyear for John is incorrect because even if he was born in 1810, he would till have been only age 18 in May of 1829, which is very young for a male to marry.  The average age for a male at first marriage is 23 (for a female, 19).  Either that or two John SELLERS are being mixed up here.

Marriage-2:  11 Dec 1834, Henry Co., GA
Wife-2:  Sarah HENDERSON
Birth:  22 Mar 1808, GA
Death:  1878, Randolph Co., AL
Disposition:  buried Sellers Cemetery, Randolph Co., AL
Occupation:  homemaker
Marriage-3:  1878-80
Marriage-3:  Mayma __?__
Birth:  1827/8, GA
Occupation:  homemaker
Parents:  born in SC

Mayme is a common misspelling of Mamie, a diminutive for Margaret or Mary.

Marriage-4:  1887/8
Wife-4:  Serena M. __?__
Birth:  Apr 1847, GA
Death:  aft. 1900 census

This enumerator's handwriting is dreadful.  Secondary sources have read Oney's surname as BROWNING, so I'll go along with them.

Mayma must have been the informant because there's nothing to suggest that John was Irish, especially as one of his patrilineal descendants has a Y-DNA matche with a descendant of a German SÖLLERS (SOELLERS / SELLERS).
