This record is hard to figure. If our subject is the son of the elder Jacob, why is he listed after the younger, Caroline? Is it because Amanda is Jacob's daughter? There is a 15-yr-old Amanda WEAVER living with John SCHANTZENBACH in the 1860 census. Could these be the same Amanda's?
