*Might be Neuwinkle (= Neu Winkel?).  The transcriber reads it as "Neunnskle," but a Google search shows the only place on the web this name/word shows up is in this record on the Ellis Island web site. 
Based on the U.S. city directories (see below), August was in Indianapolis in 1892 and 1893, but a hiatus there (until 1902) jibes with him having left.  There's a similar gap (i.e., 1893-1902) in Martin's listings in the city directories.
A penciled line joins Martin with his family, and another line joins Karl HORN with August's family.
