There is a page image of the original, and it clearly says, "Mary," not Sarah. I don't think Sarah's name was Mary, I think the clerk made an error.

Johnson, Thomas, and Joab MEADOWS are in Greenup County, and I checked the pages before and after them. No luck. Sarah A. SHEPHERD (æ 13, b. KY) is living in Carter Co., KY, with her parents (q.v.).

VA) is living in Precinct No. 4, Greenup Co., KY (pp. 97B-98A), with his parents, Elisha MEADOWS (æ 40, b. VA) & Martha A.E. (æ 33, b. VA), plus siblings. Sarah A. SHEPARD (æ 23, b.
