p. 51 66. IV. 11. AARON⁴ LYON [William³, John², William¹] was born at Woodstock, Conn., Jan. 11, 1707 [one record has 1706] and died, "slain by Indians," on Sat., May 24, 1746, at Town No. 4, N.H. (now Charleston). He married first Mary Marsh, of Uxbridge [int. May 24, 1735, Woodstock T.R.] She died Feb. 8, 1738-9 (T.R.) and he married second Elizabeth Allen, of Barrington [int. April 9, 1740, Woodstock T.R.]. Administrators of estate, Widow Elizabeth Lyon and Daniel Lyon. Inventory returned Sept. 8, 1746; amount £2,107—0—0 (Worcester Probate Records No. 38,162). In account of Daniel Lyon, Adm., Nov. 1, 1748, three children are mentioned, Jonathan, ae. about 7, Isaiah, ae. about 5, and a third, ae. about 3. Sept. 20, 1748, Daniel signed bonds as guardian of Jonathan, "Josiah" and Ezra, sons of Aaron Lyon, deceased.
