Some secondary sources have our subject the son of Joh. Michael KAPP, but although Joh. Michael's son, Joh. Andreas/Andrew KAPP, was born in 1745, that Andrew married Catharine ALBRIGHT and died in 1797 in Lebanon Co., PA — where he was born, lived, died, and is buried — so he cannot be our subject.
