Alfred JACKSON
Sarah M. BEGHTOL
Note:  this family group sheet has been pieced together from circumstantial evidence, but the coincidences are compelling and the evidence is mostly primary, so I'm accepting it. Still… caveat emptor!
Husband:  Alfred JACKSON
Birth:  ca. 1848, English Canada
Death:  1872-80
Marriage:  18 Oct 1870, Hamilton Co., IA
Wife:  Sarah M. BEGHTOL
Birth:  May 1852 or, more likely, 1846, IL
Other Spouse:  m2. 22 Jan 1882, Schuyler Co., IL, Jeremiah STROOPS
Father:  born in KY
Mother:  born in OH
Children — born in IA, apparently in Boone Co., IA:
1.  Ida May JACKSON, b. 29 May 1871
2.  Grant JACKSON, b. 29 May 1871
3.  Harriet Elizabeth "Hattie" JACKSON, b. Feb 1873

Ida and Grant were both 9 years old in the 1880 census, so I'm assuming they were twins.
