FUNERAL IS HELD
THIS AFTERNOON


     Marion Emanuel Huguet, aged 64 years and 8 months passed away in this city Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at the family residence.  The funeral was conducted from the residence, 337 Lafayette street Thursday afteroon at 2:30 o'clock and services were held in St. Joseph's Catholic church, Father Blasco officiating.  Interment was made in the Magnolia cemetery.
    Mr. Huguet has wide and prominent family connections in this city and throughout the state.  He has been a resident of this parish all his life, and a resident of Baton Rouge for 16 years.
   The deepest sympathy of hosts of friends is extended those surviving him, who are:  Five children, William S. Huguet, Noland J. Huguet, Misses Loulie and Josie Huguet and Mrs. Carrie Ball; one brother, John Huguet; two sister, Miss Cora Huguet and Mrs. A.A. Landry, and one granddaughter.

     Funeral services for Mrs. Mary L. Huguet, 68, who died early yesterday morning following an illness of several weeks, were held late yesterday afternoon from the St. Anthony Catholic church.  Interment was in the Magnolia cemetery.
    Widow of Marion Huguet, of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Huguet was a member of a well known family of this section.  Before her marriage, she was Miss Mary Pilant, of West Baton Rouge.  Before she was taken to Our Lady of the Lake hospital, where she did, she resided at 2400 Willow street.
     She is surived by three daughters, Mrs. C.H. Karney, Mrs. Jack Ludwig and Mrs. C.J. Bogan; two sons, W.S. and N.J. Huguet, and one brother, W.H. Pilant, all of Baton Rouge.
