There's no such place as "Oshioto" in Arkansas, and there's no such county as "Camden" in Arkansas.  There is a "Camden" in Ouachita Co., AR, and it appears this is the location that has been garbled in the record (i.e., "oshioto" appears to be a bad phonetic mis-spelling of Ouachita, which is pronounced WA-shi-ta, not wa-CHEE-ta.).  Another source says James's middle name is "Wilkinson."

No. & Sex Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 20-29 1810-1820 = William (b. 1817)
1 female 15-19 1820-1825 = Sarah (b. 1817/8
1 person employed in agriculture
Sarah is in the wrong age class, but surely this is our couple.  Listed next to William's father, Ezekiel HILL.

3a.  1850 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #6 of 10):  Missouri Twp., Clark Co., AR, Roll M432_25, p. 225A, 484/484, enumerated 25 Dec 1850, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1850 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

3b.  1850 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Matilda E. MASTERSON (æ 19, b. IL) and her apparently widowed mother, Nancy (__?__) MASTERSON (æ 56, b. OH) are living in Cape Girardeau Co., MO (p. 360A), with the RAVENSCROFT family.

4a.  1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  William and Sarah are deceased; I can't find Matilda, and I really looked.  Jas. HILL (æ 19, b. MO) is living in Whitewater Twp., Cape Girardeau Co., MO (p. 379), with the LAMPHER family.  Martha HILL (æ 16, b. MO) and Rachel HILL (æ 15, b. MO) are living in Apple Creek Twp., Cape Girardeau Co., MO, (p. 387), with the FERGUSON family.  Ezekiel J. HILL may be the Jackson HILL living with the HUNTER family (see next source).  There is a Mary HILL (æ 13, b. MO) living in Apple Creek Twp., Cape Girardeau Co., MO (p. 441), with the KENDALL family, who may be our subject's daughter — I could find none other who came closer.

4b.  1860 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #56 of 88):  New Madrid P.O., New Madrid Co., MO, Roll M653_636, p. , PN 66, 453/453, enumerated 13 Jul 1860, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1860 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
Isaac Hunter 39 M   Farmer 22060 19000 Mo

Molly    Do  8 F         "

Franklin Do  1 M         "
Jackson Hill 14 M         "

Sally    Do  9 F         "
Hiram and Sally HILL are the orphaned children of Samuel Allen HILL, son of John HILL.  No doubt Samuel Allen HILL and Isaac HUNTER's first wife, Susan HILL, were related, but I haven't made the connection.  I don't know who Jackson HILL is, at least not for certain.  He was not with Samuel Allen HILL in the 1850 census; and, in fact, there is no Jackson HILL born in Missouri, at all, in the 1850 census.  But he may be our subject's orphaned son, Ezekiel Jackson HILL, which raises an interesting possibility because I don't believe anyone has yet connected our subject's father, Ezekiel HILL (b. 1790 in ?), to John HILL (b. 1783 in NC), progenitors of large HILL families in Cape Girardeau Co., MO.

5.  1870 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  James W. HILL (æ 28, b. MO) is living in Whitewater Twp., Cape Girardeau Co. MO (p. 221A), with his wife, Caroline (æ 23, b. VA), their three children, and Marry HILL (æ 22, b. AR), who apparently is his unmarried sister.  Martha HILL (æ 26, b. MO) is living in Apple Creek Twp., Cape Girardeau Co., MO (p. 33A), with Widow Hannah FERGUSON.

6.  1880 Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  Mary H. HILL (æ 32, b. MO) is living in Apple Creek Twp., Cape Girardeau Co., MO, with her married sister, Martha J. (HILL) GODWIN.
