3.  1830 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  the only Joseph HAMBLETON/HAMBELTON in Ohio is in Elkrun, Columbiana County (there are nine Joseph HAMILTONs, but none in Muskingum County).  There's a William ROCKEY (æ 40-50) in Blue Rock Twp., Muskingum Co., OH; he's the only ROCKEY/ROCKY in Muskingum County.

4.  1840 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com):  there is a Joseph HAMILTON in Blue Rock Twp., Muskingum Co., OH, who is the only HAMILTON (or variation) in the township.  There's a William ROCKEY (æ 40-50) in Harrison Twp., Muskingum Co., OH, who is one line above Henry KOON (æ 20-30), who is four lines above Vincent BAIN; William is the only ROCKEY/ROCKY in Muskingum County.

Ingabee is William's daughter, not his granddaughter, and she should be surnamed HAMBELTON, not ROSS.  My guess is that, in transcribing his field notes onto the Population Schedule, the enumerator accidentally omitted Leota's daughter, who may have been named Ingabee.  Otherwise, where is Leota's daughter?

12.  WorldConnect / Ancestry World Trees (online at RootsWeb.com/Ancestry.com).  A file here gives William's wife as "L. ROCKEFELLER," which is surely incorrect — there simply were no ROCKEFELLERs in Ohio to be Lena's parents — not to mention Linney's surname in Ingabee's birth record, which is obviously a mis-reading, but not that much of a mis-reading.  Other files there have Joseph HAMILTON surnamed HAMBELTON or HAMBLETON, with wife Susan or Susannah LOWE.
