John's parents are said to be John L. CUPP & Mary WILHELM, but they do not have a son, John, in the 1850 (or 1860) census.  He does appear to be the John CUPP living with John Peter & Sarah (WILHELM) CUPP in 1850, as his grandchild?

Marriage:

This record is extremely difficult to read; I may not have gotten it entirely correct.  John's middle initial could be "W" or just about anything else.

It does read "Fena," but surely it should be "Tena."  She is fibbing about her age (she should be 32).
