Jacob CUPP
Edwina GOIN
NOTICE:  Our subject is one of several Jacob CUPP / COPP / KOPP in the southern United States being mixed up by secondary sources.  Please see this disambiguation page for my ongoing attempt at sorting them out.  And please note, especially, that our subject is not the Jacob CUPP who married Sibby BREEDING.  The Jacob CUPP who married Sibby BREEDING married her in 1788 and stayed married to her through the 1850 census, so our subject cannot be the same man.

Given that I can find no records of this couple, the question has to be raised:  on what basis do we know they existed?
