Charles was almost certainly born in Ohio (his younger brother was born in Ohio), and we know he was married in Ohio. 8. U.S. Geological Survey. GNIS: Geographic Names Information Service (online database). The only "Maitlen" in the database is in Washington state. There is a "Maitland" in Mifflin Co., PA. 9.
