10.  Anon.  1884.  The History of Wyandot County.  Leggett, Conaway & Co., Chicago (online at Heritage Pursuit).  On August 20th, 21st, and 22nd of 1845, the Commissioners of Wyandot Co., OH, offered town lots at Upper Sandusky for sale at auction.  A list of purchasers was kept and included:
p. 321 In Lot No. 219, William Corbin..................... $113
The information in the following list appears to have been gleaned from the county tax rolls:
p. 935 Following were the owners of real and personal estate in Richland Township in the year 1845:
...William Corbin, William Crites, Jonas Crites, George Crites, Lydia Crites, William Crites...
...William Corbin, Henry Crites, George Crites, Jonas Crites, William Crites...
William was the only CORBIN in Richland Township.  In Ridge Twp. was William's brother, Aaron CORBIN, and his father, Nicodemus CORBIN.  There was a James CORBIN in the Town of Halifax and a Pvt. Thomas CORBIN (Co. F, 55th OVI, Civil War).  These are all the CORBINs in the entire the book.

*The county is not given on the original certificate, which describes the location of the land solely in terms of Aliquot, Section, Township, and Range.  The county name must have been added to the database at some later time, probably when the certificate data were computerized, especially as Wyandot County did not exist until 1845.
