E.A. Corbin found in "Georgia Black Book" as having served 3 years in Milledgeville, Ga. prision for petty larceny in late 1840's.  He was listed as a barber from Chatham County (Savannah) Georgia.  His place of birth and date of birth, etc. matched record of 1812.  He is listed as Edward A. Corbin.
By "record of 1812," he means the baptismal record of Edward CORBIN, s/o [William] Arthur and Ann, and the birth date is an exact match, to the day, leaving little doubt these are the same man.
