If this Jacob is really the son of Paul & Susanna (STRAUB) CRAWFORD, he should have been born in Ohio.  (This enumerator used "with parents" for all the children of all the households.)

This enumerator's "N's" look like "U's," so  Jacob's parents' birthplaces could be the "United States" or "Nova Scotia."  Only the former makes sense if, indeed, this Jacob CRAWFORD is the son of Paul & Susanna (STRAUB) CRAWFORD.
