8.  One World Tree (online at Ancestry.com).  The file there gives no parents for either Joseph or Lydia, but it gives Lydia's birthplace erroneously as Venango Co., PA, but the allusion may mean that the Joseph CHERRY born in Venango Co., PA (see 1850 census) is, indeed, her husband.

9.  Email from kin.  Says Lydia died in Franklin, PA.  Also says Joseph died in the Civil War, but if so, where was he in the 1860 census?
